Calculations

To perform calculations select a target element and the reaction of your interest. Type the scattering angle (in a laboratory frame of reference) in the corresponding field. In the case of the ¹H(⁴He,p)⁴He reaction the angle for a recoil nucleus is implied. The results of the calculations are presented in a two columns text file. The units for energy and cross sections as well as the delimiter between the columns must be chosen from the "Format" menu ("RTR" means "Ratio To Rutherford" in that menu) before the calculations are launched. Press the "Calculation" button to start the calculations.

In the case of the R33 format results of the calculations are presented along with available experimental data.
