C-12 (p,p)

The calculations provide the evaluated differential cross sections in the energy region up to 3.5 MeV. The evaluation was described in NIM B136-138 (1998) 60. The comparison of the obtained results with posterior measurements was made in NIM B152 (1999) 403, NIM B159 (1999) 191, and NIM B190 (2002) 95 . The reliability of the theoretical cross sections was confirmed in all the cases. The only significant difference reported in the last work was the position of the strong narrow resonance which was placed in the calculations at 1734 keV whereas at the last work it was found at 1726 keV. The position of this resonance is actually well established due to numerous experimental studies and the value used in the calculations is the adopted one taken from the compilation of F.Ajzenberg-Selove (Nucl. Phys. A523 (1991) 46). An extension of the evaluation up to 4.5 MeV was reported in Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research B 269 (2011) 2011
